Previous Name: Kravitz
Myth: The Adventure Zone
Past Life Information: Kravitz was a bounty hunter for The Raven Queen. It wasn't what he had planned for himself but... well, death finds a way. For a very long time, this worked out pretty well. Track down renegade litches, put the fear of The Raven Queen in them, drag them back to the Astral Plane, rinse and repeat. Then, one day, he started the morning with a bounty and ended it by being threatened with tentacles.
Kravitz would tell you this was not the day he fell in love with Taako, said tentacle threatener. He would be lying.
Current Name: Nasir Saleh
Age: 29
Occupation: Who even knows, man?
Background: Nasir would tell you his background doesn’t really matter. His story isn’t that interesting and is actually kind of cliché. It doesn’t start to pick up a bit until he was placed in his final foster home. The adults were neglectful, at best, but he clicked with the other kids and suddenly found himself with more siblings than he knew what to do with. It was all thanks to Steve, the eldest of them. He’d worked hard to turn a group of hurting children into a family.
Despite his siblings and the fact that he was relatively happy, Louisiana felt like a pit of quicksand. As soon as he graduated high school, he left. He went to college in New York and got a joint-degree in music production and business. He’d always had a love for music but was terrified that his nebulous dream of “doing something” music related wouldn’t pan out. Business felt like a safe thing to fall back on.
After college, he moved to LA. That’s where the entertainment industry is, right? But he hated Las Angeles and only stayed long enough to save enough money to move again. This created a bit of a pattern with Nasir and he moved many times over the next couple years. He would work a job or two, maybe sell a few songs, but would quickly start to feel dissatisfied with where he was and what he was doing. He even spent some time recently traveling abroad. As much as it would pain him to say it, he’s trying to find himself. It just hasn’t worked out so far.
He recently arrived home and is crashing for a while with Steve and a few of his other siblings. The search for meaning in his life is starting to get exhausting. He’s almost thirty. Shouldn’t he have this figured out by now? The plan is to hang out and catch up with his siblings for a bit but he might stick around for longer. He’ll figure it out.
Current Status: Unaware.
